Job Description

Overview:

Join UF Health as a Surgical/Financial Services Coordinator, where you will deliver excellent patient-centered care. You will manage scheduling, verify insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, and communicate financial estimates to patients. Your role includes collecting prepayments, providing financial counseling, and maintaining surgical calendars to maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Three years of business/financial/physician practice experience

– Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding preferred

– Excellent communication and organizational skills
