Job Description
Position Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Minimum of 7 years in Clinical Documentation Improvement and Utilization Management
- Knowledge of national medical necessity criteria and ICD-10 coding
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Must possess a valid MD/DO license and board certification
- Willingness to travel to various hospitals and Advocate Aurora locations
This position involves managing key performance areas including length of stay, resource utilization, and quality care. The role necessitates effective communication and the ability to work within a team.
