Job Description
Cantor Barbra Lieberstein’s Jewish Lifecycles is seeking tutors for a growing Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring business. Tutors will teach children Hebrew, Judaic studies, and prayers using the program’s curriculum. A background in religious school teaching is preferred. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, be computer-savvy, and show compassion in teaching with positive reinforcement.
This position requires commuting to students’ homes in the Montclair, NJ area, and effective communication via text, email, and phone. This is not a remote position.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Expected Hours: Minimum of 1 hour per week
Schedule: After school; choose your own hours; weekends as needed.
