Job Description
Join OSF HealthCare as a Lab Assistant, where starting pay is $18.07/hour. You’ll play a vital role in patient care, conducting specimen collection, ensuring proper storage, and preparing specimens for transport. Your responsibilities include performing point of care testing and maintaining quality control in compliance with CAP, Joint Commission, and CLIA standards. An ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and must complete OSF Phlebotomy class within 6 months of hire if not previously trained. Previous phlebotomy experience and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records are preferred.
