Job Description
UF Health is seeking a part-time Monitor Support Technician to join our team. This role involves 36 hours a week, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The technician will monitor and interpret patients’ heart rhythms and rates utilizing telemetry recordings, while also assisting with patient mobility alongside Registered Nurses. Responsibilities include managing the nurse call system, answering calls, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean care environment.
Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, strong computer skills, effective communication abilities, and a basic understanding of medical terminology. Previous clerical or nursing assistant experience is preferred.
