Job Description

Maryville Academy is seeking a dedicated Unit Coordinator to enhance our staff support by coordinating work schedules and facilitating communication regarding patient appointments. The ideal candidate will possess customer service focus, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to create effective schedules that balance staff credentials and competencies.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the computerized scheduling calendar, communicating unit shift needs, managing employee additions and deletions in scheduling software, answering calls to triage and schedule patient appointments, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure proper staffing ratios. Additionally, the Unit Coordinator will assist in monitoring payroll and schedule management for holidays.
