Job Description
NewsNation is seeking a dedicated Desk Assistant to support our editorial operations in Chicago. In this role, you will collaborate with Assignment Managers and Editors to assist in newsgathering and reporting. Responsibilities include gathering information, conducting story research, logging news events, coordinating video feeds, and supporting news teams.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 6 months of TV experience, and knowledge in video editing and social media. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
