Job Description
Under direction, the position functions as lead educational interpreter and resource coordinator for Deaf Hard of Hearing (DHH) students in the district’s exceptional education program. The role facilitates communication through sign language, oral interpreting, and other resources necessary for DHH students. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional technical skills and extensive interpreting experience. Interpreters are expected to adhere to The Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) code of ethics and the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.74 – $20.74 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 per week
