Job Description
The Patient Transporter at Loma Linda University Health plays a crucial role in the safe transportation of patients and related items throughout the Medical Center and its associated facilities. Responsibilities include operating gurneys, wheelchairs, and beds while maintaining a professional demeanor. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, but can be waived for equivalent education. Applicants should possess effective communication skills, be capable of working under pressure, and have basic computer proficiency.
Required qualifications include a valid Driver’s License upon hire, and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is preferred.
