Job Description

UCLA Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Authorization Representative. In this role, you will facilitate the patient registration process, verify insurance, determine financial responsibilities, and deliver exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Pre-registering patients and providing essential support.
• Verifying insurance details and entering information into CareConnect.
• Confirming co-pays, deductibles, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
• Managing a busy phone system and assisting patients with inquiries.

Salary range: $30.47 – $47.85 hourly. We seek a flexible individual with experience in insurance verification, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in software like Word and Excel.
