Job Description
Brownsville Academy High School is a transfer school dedicated to supporting students who are behind in credits and need a second chance to complete their high school education. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to enhance the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our diverse student body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling.
- Develop intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with families and staff.
- Conduct assessments and referrals.
- Lead workshops on mental health.
- Advocate for student needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,831.00 – $173,952.00 per year
License/Certification: Valid New York State LMSW or LCSW license (Required).
