Job Description
Rose Mountain Care Center seeks a patient, service-oriented Translation Specialist to bridge communication between Chinese-speaking residents and healthcare staff. The interpreter will accurately render spoken and written English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese during assessments, appointments, and care planning without adding opinions. Responsibilities: accompany residents to appointments, interpret clinical information, and support family communications. Requirements: HS diploma/GED, minimum 40 hours Medical Interpreter training, National Board Certification for Medical Interpreters, fluency in English plus Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese (oral & written), reliable transportation, and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
