Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Counselor to provide excellent patient-centered service. This role involves managing billing processes, reviewing patient accounts, verifying insurance, and providing financial counseling to patients. You will resolve front-end edits, rejections, and information requests while interacting directly with internal and external customers. Flexibility to float to other practices may be required.
Qualifications:
– High school graduate or equivalent
– 2 years of business/financial experience, preferably in patient accounts
– Knowledge of CPT and diagnosis coding preferred
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment required.
