Job Description

Position Summary: New York University is seeking an Animal Caretaker responsible for cage sanitation, physical plant maintenance, and safe operation of sanitation equipment. The role involves routine exposure to laboratory animals and their waste products. Essential services staff must maintain operations during emergencies, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with over 1 year of experience in an animal facility. Candidates must be able to lift 55 pounds and follow safety procedures.
