Job Description

Small entrepreneurial organization seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper in the Chicagoland or northwest Indiana area to support our accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be proficient in double-entry bookkeeping.

• Remote position with onsite and virtual support required for orientation, training, and meetings.
• Responsibilities include data entry, filing, processing accounts payable and receivable, and some general ledger posting.
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Desktop is required.
• Flexible schedule: 3-4 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• Salary: $20-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
