Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: UHD Bilingual e-Library is seeking seven (7) bilingual teachers’ assistants in Aldine ISD to support Hispanic families in Houston, Texas, focusing on connectivity, literacy, and labor market preparation.
DUTIES:
- Engage Hispanic families to utilize the UHD Bilingual e-Library.
- Plan monthly literacy celebration activities.
- Encourage families to share stories on the library’s YouTube channel.
- Share UHD degree offerings information.
- Collaborate for family engagement meetings.
- Act as a communication liaison with school staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience.
- Elementary Certification required.
- Preferred: Bilingual skills (Spanish and English).
