Job Description
Provide accurate sign language interpretation for community events, appointments, and services. Facilitate clear communication between Deaf and hearing individuals, ensuring cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Requirements: fluent in sign language and English (US), experience interpreting in community settings, strong interpersonal skills, reliable transportation, and ability to work flexible hours. Certification preferred but not required. Duties include consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, preparing briefings, and liaising with service providers.
