Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician will receive continuous training in driving a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) rescue ambulance and providing first aid and basic life support services. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, assisting LAFD personnel, stocking ambulances with supplies, and more.
This position is temporary for up to five years as per the Board of Civil Service Commissioners’ rules.
