Job Description
Gonzalez Food Products seeks a 2nd shift Facilities Maintenance Technician to support sanitation and equipment upkeep in a food/RTE environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Candidates should follow Safety Standards and GMPs, have sanitation and industrial experience, a High School diploma or GED, and be able to use basic tools (sockets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers). Role requires PPE compliance, standing 8–10 hours, working in wet areas, and availability Monday–Friday with some weekends. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, identifying health and safety hazards, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and floors after production runs, removing production-area trash, maintaining daily logs, and performing other related duties as assigned.
