Job Description
Company: Marten Transport
PURPOSE: To serve as a supervisor and representative in Operations, managing driver performance and ensuring effective communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary contact for drivers regarding load information and performance feedback.
- Oversee fleet performance in pick up and delivery, cost control, and compliance.
- Ensure drivers understand customer expectations.
- Maintain daily records of assigned trucks and drivers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent communication, organizational skills, detail-oriented, multitasking ability.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business or five years of fleet management experience required.
