Job Description
Are you ready to play a crucial role in the fast-paced environment of a 24/7 newsroom? ABC News is seeking a Production Associate for our Los Angeles Bureau. This position involves overnight and weekend shifts as you support the Assignment Desk.
Key responsibilities include making and receiving breaking news calls, assisting with field assignments, researching and pitching stories, and monitoring video feeds. You’ll also log and transcribe videos, handle logistics for our correspondents, and produce live segments for major newscasts.
The ideal candidate should have at least one year of newsroom experience, a passion for journalism, and excellent communication skills.
