Job Description

EMERGICON LLC is seeking a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for reviewing claims to ensure reimbursement by following up with insurance carriers and patients. This role involves recognizing trends in reporting and communicating them to the lead or manager.

Essential Duties:

• Manage claims over 60-days on A/R reports.
• Handle denials and correspondence.
• Utilize clearinghouse and insurance portals.
• Prepare corrected claims and appeals.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required; Medical A/R experience preferred.
