Job Description
Provider on Demand is seeking a Medical Technician for our Lorena location. The ideal candidate will maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers, contributing to an enthusiastic work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Triage and monitor vital signs
- Insert and remove IVs
- Collect samples for laboratory analysis
- Perform diagnostic tests and 12-lead EKGs
- Assist in cleaning and preparing wounds
- Provide instruments to healthcare staff during procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience with IVs and blood draws
- 1+ year experience with EKG interpretation
- BLS Certification required
- Paramedic or nursing coursework is a plus
