Job Description
Summary:
- Greet each customer pleasantly upon arrival.
- Transport passengers safely using assigned vehicles.
- Operate wheelchair lifts safely and efficiently.
- Provide courteous wheelchair escort services.
- Familiarity with local hospitals and Chicago area streets is essential.
- Complete Wheelchair Safety Training.
- Check and clean wheelchairs after each use.
- Assist customers with entering/exiting vehicles.
- Monitor and assist customers in parking lots.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Great customer service skills required.
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods.
- Capable of pushing heavy wheelchairs over long distances.
- Valid driver’s license is a must.
- Pass background check and drug screening.
