Job Description
We are seeking a certified Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents in long-term care, following individualized care plans and state regulations. Duties include preparing and distributing medications, documenting administration, monitoring for side effects, maintaining secure medication storage, and communicating changes to nursing staff. Candidates must hold a Medication Technician certification or equivalent, high school diploma or GED, and current CPR/First Aid. Must demonstrate attention to detail, professionalism, and good communication. Flexible availability for day/evening shifts and willingness to undergo background checks required. Previous experience in geriatric or assisted living preferred.
