Job Description
Layer Cake Bakery in Irvine, serving the community for over 16 years, seeks a Morning Baker to join our scratch-made bakery and café team. You will bake, assemble and decorate cakes, cupcakes, croissants, pastries, cookies and breakfast items; prepare fillings and frostings; help develop menu items; and keep a clean, organized workspace. Bakery experience preferred but formal culinary schooling not required. Must thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, be positive, professional and a strong team communicator. Full-time, in-person; $17.00–$19.00/hr, 32–40 hrs/week, 8-hour morning shifts with weekends/holidays as needed. Benefits include employee discount, provided meals and flexible scheduling.
