Job Description
The Oncology Data Specialist-Certified is responsible for the accurate abstracting of cancer data in line with the American College of Surgeons and Florida Cancer Data system requirements. This role involves identifying cases for registry inclusion, performing lifetime follow-up on cancer cases diagnosed at Tampa General Hospital, and assisting with tumor conferences and Cancer Committee meetings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Arts or Science
- Cancer Registry abstracting experience in a CoC-approved Cancer Registry required
- Proficient in Cancer Registry Software (CNEXT/Oncology)
Location: Tampa | Remote Work: Fully Remote | Salary: $52,707.20
