Job Description
The Outpatient Registrar is responsible for accurate pre-registration and registration of outpatient accounts, ensuring a positive patient experience and compliance with reimbursement standards.
Essential Functions
- Initiate and complete patient registrations.
- Verify insurance eligibility and secure authorizations.
- Accurately enter physician orders.
- Collect patient financial responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Hospital/Insurance experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
