Job Description

UCLA Health is seeking a Per Diem, Patient Access Representative. In this role, you will pre-register, pre-admit, and admit patients both over the phone and in person. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting accurate demographic information
• Reviewing and interpreting insurance benefits
• Obtaining prior authorizations and collecting cash
• Interacting with public assistance programs and various hospital personnel
• Referring cases to assist patients with discharge/post-hospital care

This position requires flexibility to float between our West Valley, Santa Monica, and Westwood locations.

Salary: $37.10 per hour. *This position may convert to a career role.*
