Job Description
Summary:
Under direct supervision, the PT Aide assists in patient care while providing clerical functions and maintaining the department’s general upkeep.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with exercise programs and modalities, as directed by the therapist.
- Maintains equipment and treatment areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Performs routine office functions such as phone calls, patient scheduling, and billing as required by the site.
- Monitors the environment of care for the department.
Position Qualifications Required:
– Computer competency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
– Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
