Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring their well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities
– Perform skilled nursing care to patients in their residences
– Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
– Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills
– Proficient in IV insertion and venipuncture
– Knowledge of aseptic techniques and critical care practices
– Experience in case management and triage
– Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
– Ability to work with electronic health records systems like Athenahealth
– Knowledge of mammography procedures is a plus
– Understanding of workers’ compensation laws is advantageous
