Residential Pest Control Floater Technician – Central Houston

Key Responsibilities

• Support various pest control routes and technicians based on daily operational needs.
• Conduct inspections of residential properties to identify general pest issues.
• Apply appropriate treatment methods to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations.
• Educate homeowners on pest prevention strategies and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits.
• Uphold safety protocols and company standards while working independently or alongside other technicians.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, walking roofs, and accessing tight spaces when needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Termite Rodent (TR) Technician or similar pest control role.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Ability to walk on roofs and perform physical tasks required for pest inspections and treatments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a driving record of 5+ years.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Additional Information:

A “floater” is a versatile technician who is flexible to work in various roles or locations within the company, providing support wherever needed. This position offers a schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates will undergo six weeks of paid training at $17 per hour, after which they are guaranteed a minimum pay of $1,850 per pay period before taxes, bi-monthly.
