Job Description

Position Requirements:

• Education Required: High School Graduate
• Experience Required: No experience necessary; completion of telemetry education within 6-12 weeks of hire is required.
• Must maintain competency thereafter.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, and twist frequently during the workday.
• May be exposed to various hazards.

Purpose: Provides telemetry monitoring for all patients. Initiates rapid response for abnormal heart rhythms.

Accountabilities include maintaining surveillance on telemetry monitors and notifying Registered Nurses of any changes.
