Job Description
Company: Mercyhealth
Position: Pool/PRN Unit Clerk
Location: Javon Bea Hospital – Riverside
Shifts: 2 – 12 hour shifts per 4-week schedule (Variable Shifts)
Overview: The Unit Clerk prepares and compiles records in a hospital setting, supporting nursing staff. This may require working weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Process orders accurately and timely.
- Answer phone and call lights.
- Maintain medical records and patient supply orders.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Unit Clerk course or equivalent training.
- CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.
